Certificate II in Dance -CUA20113 

The units provide the student with an introductory study in a variety of dance disciplines. With a mix of genres, an introduction to the industry and career side of performing arts, it is a great qualification to encourage further exploration of the art form. The units of competency from Certificate II attained by students in years 10, 11 and/or 12 can contribute towards the achievement of a West Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). This offers a great opportunity for students to attain the qualification whilst completing their studies at school.

Certificate IV in Musical Theatre- CUA40513

Certificate IV in Musical Theatre is a full time course that runs on a school term basis over a period of thirty-eight weeks. The units are bundled to provide the student with an all-round knowledge of performing arts producing a triple threat in musical theatre. Students will have the opportunity to train in current industry trends and experience a wide field of performance opportunities. Musical Theatre majors will have a strong focus on acting, and vocal techniques along with selected dance genres and artist self-development.

Certificate IV in Dance -CUA40113

The units are bundled to provide the student with an increasing depth in a variety of dance disciplines. Students will have the opportunity to train in current commercial trends and experience a wide field of performance and practical opportunities. The units of competency from Certificate III attained by students in years 10, 11 and/or 12 can contribute towards the achievement of a West Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). This offers a great opportunity for students to attain the qualification whilst completing their studies at school.

Diploma in Musical Theatre - CUA50213

Diploma in Musical Theatre is a full time course that runs on a school term basis over a period of thirty-eight weeks. The course is designed to provide the student with an in-depth study in their specialty area; to extend and challenge them in their chosen field and equip them to be artists with the necessary skills to be independent and versatile performers in a competitive industry. Students will have the opportunity to train in current commercial trends and experience a wide field of performance and practical opportunities. Musical Theatre Majors will have a strong focus on vocal and acting skills, performance practices, partnering and dance along with business aspects, artist self-development and performance skills in a variety of scenarios. By invitation only, Diploma graduates will have the opportunity to complete an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (specialising in Musical Theatre) the following year.

Advanced Diploma in Performing 52781WA Arts

Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) (Commercial Dance) is a full time course that runs on a school term basis over a period of thirty-eight weeks for two years. The units are bundled to provide the student with an in depth study in their speciality (either Commercial Dance or Musical Theatre), to extend and challenge the student in their chosen field and equip the artists with necessary skills for independent performers in a competitive industry.  This course includes a strong, specialised training with a variety of local and interstate trainers, including group and private tutoring. Students will have the opportunity to train in current commercial trends and experience a wide field of performance and practical opportunities. The Advanced Diploma runs in three school terms of training with every term having an intensive period of interstate trainers and assessments over two years. The last term pf each year is dedicated to a professional showcase of the student’s work attracting agents and training institutions from all around Australia.

CUA50113 Diploma in Dance (Elite Performance)

Diploma in Dance is full time course that runs on a school term basis over a period of thirty-eight weeks. The course is designed to provide the student with an in-depth study in their speciality area; to extend and challenge them in their chosen field and equip them to be artists with the necessary skills to be independent and versatile performers in a competitive industry. Students will have the opportunity to train in current commercial trends and experience a wide field of performance and practical opportunities. Dance Majors will have a strong all round focus into all styles of dancing with an emphasis on strengthening technique and artistry in contemporary, classical and jazz. The course includes exciting aspects of business, choreography, artist self-development and performance skills in a variety of scenarios. By invitation only, Diploma graduates will have the opportunity to complete an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (specialising in Commercial Dance) the following year.

The units are bundled to provide the student with an increasing depth in a variety of dance disciplines. Students will have the opportunity to train in current commercial trends and experience a wide field of performance and practical opportunities. With many requests for our Performing Arts qualifications to be expanded three new courses have been developed and are ready for delivery in 2020. Enquire now for set up a meeting.

CERTIFICATE I IN DANCE (CUA10113) - 

An introductory course to dance comprising of six units. Suitable for Year 9 and Year 10 students. This has a choice of four elective units of Jazz, Classical, Tap and Hip Hop

CERTIFICATE II MUSIC INDUSTRY (CUA20615)

This course has units bundled together with the focus of voice. Perfect for schools with choir work and singing and vocals as a subject.

CERTIFICATE II IN CREATIVE INDUSTRIES (CUA20215)

This course has units bundled together to focus on the industry of performing arts, specifically musical theatre. Students concentrate on the world of performing with a strong focus on introductory learning to vocals, movement and performing. Great for schools with a drama and musical theatre department.
